This is truly an easy recipe that we have to imitate the Outback Steakhouse Alice Springs Chicken. There are just a few ingredients to this dish and it is so simple to make.

3 Chicken Breasts
6 slices Bacon, smoked and thick sliced
2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
½ cup Green Onions, chopped
Salt and Pepper to taste
How to make Alice Springs Chicken, Copycat Outback Steakhouse
FIRST STEP:
Preheat the oven to 350*
Slice each of the Chicken breasts in half lengthwise, this will give you 6 pieces of chicken
Season with Salt and Pepper and roast for 25 minutes
SECOND STEP:
While the Chicken is roasting, fry the bacon partially, just to cook the fat off, but do not fry to crispy stage
Remove the Chicken from the oven, cut each strip of bacon in half and place two half pieces on top of each piece of Chicken Breast
THIRD STEP:
Place the baking tray back into the oven and bake for 10 more minutes
Remove the tray from the oven and sprinkle each piece of Chicken with ⅓ cup of shredded Cheddar Cheese
Place the tray into the oven and bake for 5 minutes
Sprinkle with chopped Green onion before serving
