When I am having family or friends over for a big game day, I like to make these, that way if our favorite team is losing, this makes the score a little easier to deal with.

These are also a great appetizer if you know people are going to be hungry and the meal will not be until evening, you need something that will help people be happy and not become cranky waiting for food.

Frequently Asked Questions:

            Should I use thin bacon?

I prefer to use the thicker sliced bacon. It just adds a little more flavor and gives you more of the bacon we all love.

            Can I make homemade dough?

You definitely could, I just like to give you recipes that do not take a lot of time or work, yet will give you the results you want. I prefer to use a can of refrigerated biscuit dough.

Can I use cheese other than mozzarella?

Oh my, the possibilities are endless. I would love to try this with a smoked mozzarella, or a gouda. Pepperjack would add a great flavor combination with the bacon.
