You've probably noticed that I've been pretty excited about essential oils lately. We use them for so many things - from cleaning to skin care! Now that I'm in my late thirties (yikes, where did the time go!?!) I've started noticing different things I've never had to deal with when I was younger - thinning hair, headaches, mood swings, the list goes on... I've been trying a few different things to balance things out. And, since we've been using essential oils for other things, I started to take some time to research how they could help support a healthy body.

These 6 oils and blends are good choices for women looking to support their health. I’ve used a few and have plans to add more to my collection. Here are the 6 essential oils for women that I love:

Feminine-Aid

Feminine Aid Essential Oil Blend has a sweet, floral scent that can help balance your emotions as well as support the endocrine system. Use it as a massage oil to ease cramps. It contains a blend of Vetiver, Clary Sage, Sandalwood, Neroli, Bergamot, Petitgrain Bigarade, Cinnamon Bark, Lemon, & Orange in Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Clary Sage

Clary Sage is on my monthly shopping list for April. It contains natural phytoestrogen and will support women through PMS symptoms. Just apply it daily to your ankles – the Vita Flex points for the ovaries and uterus.

Lymph Support

Lymph Support is an oil blend that I've recently added to my collection to support my lympahtic system. This blend includes: Spearmint, Myrtle, Sage, Nutmeg, Geranium, Myrrh, German Chamomile, & Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Vitex Berry

This blend of Vitex Berry has a floral aroma that can balance and stabilize your mood and support healthy hormone levels. Try using it in a massage oil to ease cramps experienced during your menstrual cycle.

Lavender

If you’re not ready to jump into trying different blends, lavender is a great oil that can also help support women’s health. It’s a wonderful all-purpose oil and is a good place to start.

Ylang Ylang

Ylang Ylang helps support hormone balance and emotions. Diffusing or applying a drop of ylang ylang over your heart helps with emotional balance and peace.
