Gift ideas for people who love books

The go-to gift for many readers is a gift card to the local bookstore. That's still a great option (I love visiting bookstores and don't go often enough) but sometimes you just want to get a gift instead of a card. These gift ideas are for you!

For the person who wants books delivered right to their door, GiftLit would be an awesome choice. It's a monthly subscription service with books grouped by various themes. There are so many categories of books to choose from that your only problem will be narrowing down the possibilities!

I love art that's themed around books and Spineless Classics have the coolest art prints. They take the text of a classic novel and create an art print. You'll find children's classics like The Wind in the Willows or Harry Potter. A few of my favorites.... Pride & Prejudice and The Hobbit.

Another great choice is an Audible membership - perfect for the book-lover who listens to audio books. It's also great for homeschooling families - we've listened to many audiobooks through the years. It has saved my voice many times! The plea for 'just one more chapter' is much easier to say yes to when you don't have to read the book out loud yourself.

I LOVE the gifts at The Literary Gift Company - there are mugs, candles, jewelry, bag, and stationary (and lots more). Here's a great mug with a quote from Louisa Alcott, Texts from Jane Eyre would be a great gag gift, and the books turned into things section has some really neat stuff.

Let's not forget Amazon - there are lots of great bookish finds in that large bookstore! A Kindle would be a great gift (for the book lover who is inclined to use technology to read). I think this Pride & Poetry Kit should be in your shopping cart for all those Jane Austen fans. Amazon Prime may be a great choice (unless your book loving friend already subscribes!) - access to Kindle books, TV shows and movies, and free shipping on products - it's a great gift idea! And a few other bookish ideas from Amazon:
