- 8 ounces sliced Andouille sausage
- 8 ounces peeled, deveined medium shrimp
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- ½ thinly sliced red bell pepper
- ½ cup crushed tomatoes
- ½ thinly sliced yellow onion
- ¾ cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 12 ounces uncooked bow tie pasta
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- Shredded parmesan, to serve
- Olive oil, as needed
1. Cook the pasta in boiling water then drain.
2. Heat the oil in a skillet over a moderate heat.
3. Add the shrimp and half the Cajun seasoning.
4. Cook, stirring often, until the shrimp are cooked.
5. Remove them from the pan.
6. Turn the heat down and add the sausage to the same skillet.
7. Cook until golden and cooked through.
8. Remove it from the pan.
9. Add more oil to the pan as well as the peppers and onions.
10. Saute until tender.
11. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
12. Now stir in the remaining Cajun seasoning, thyme, paprika, sugar, chicken brown, tomatoes, cream, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.

14. Now you can add the sausage, shrimp and cooked pasta and toss to mix.
15. Serve sprinkled with parmesan and garnished with parsley.
