I am giving you an even better quiche for your weekend that will not only fill you up, it is easier to make then the traditional quiche, but it is also easier on the waistline. This quiche is a crustless version that tastes even better than traditional. It is loaded with ham and gooey cheese. This ham and cheese quiche is so much easier to make you will probably feel like you have forgotten something.

            The crustless style is everything that we love about quiche except the carbs. This quiche will taste great served as is, rolled up into a burrito, made into a wrap or even rolled into a soft egg roll. There is so much goodness in the quiche you will always want to have some on hand for guests or a quick snack.

            Quiche can be served in a number of ways, as I stated. I tend to serve with a strawberry apple salad, a small dinner salad or just placed on a piece of toast. Many times, I have placed servings of crustless quiche on top of a crisp lettuce leaf and served it with fruit circling around on the plate.

            1 tbsp vegetable oil

            1 small onion, chopped

            5 eggs, beaten well

            10 ounces spinach, chopped

            ¼ tsp salt

            ⅛ tsp ground black pepper

            3 cups muenster cheese, shredded

How to make Crustless Ham and Cheese Quiche

FIRST STEP:

Preheat the oven to 350*

Grease a 9 inch pie plate

SECOND STEP:

Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet

Add the onions and cook until they become translucent

Stir in the spinach and saute until the spinach is softened

In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, salt and pepper and the muenster cheese

Add in the spinach and the onion mixture

Stir well and spoon into the pie plate

FIFTH STEP:

Bake for 30 minutes, or until the eggs are set
