Dole Pineapple Whip

The frozen dessert that has become iconic is now a possibility to make without making that vacation trip to Disney. The Pineapple Whip has become one that millions have fallen in love with. It is frozen, making it perfect for a hot summer day, it is refreshing, which helps to revive the ambition we lose when it is hot outside.

This Dole Pineapple Whip has been through many variations throughout the time since its inception. Dole Pineapple Whip does not contain any actual Dairy in the ingredients.

Although the original  dessert will taste like a favorite soft serve ice cream, it is not in any way, ice cream. The magical dessert is super easy to make and only takes a few ingredients.

My version however, does contain ice cream and I believe that it makes it even better than the original that uses the fillers to thicken the dessert.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I use a different fruit?

Of course you can! Pineapple Whip is the original recipe from the Dole Company. I enjoy playing with recipes and trying different variations.

How long does this last in the freezer?

I would guess that if your family is like mine, you will not have any left to put in the freezer. However, I would assume that Pineapple Whip will last for up to 2 months in the freezer.

How do I avoid the Dairy?

You can use a vegan ice cream in place of the Vanilla ice cream in my recipe.

Can I use a different flavor of ice cream?

If you want to experiment with other flavors of ice cream? Feel free to try other flavors. Strawberry might be a good choice or chocolate. The choice is yours, based on your tastes.
