Easy Meatball Stroganoff

            Who does not love stroganoff? How about Stroganoff that is ready in 30 minutes and has a perfect gravy made with cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. This Stroganoff is perfect over a plate full of egg noodles.

The meatballs in this dish are simple to make and give this dish that classic comfort food feeling.  Obviously, this is not my original Stroganoff recipe. This one is done for those of us who do not have time to spend forever in the kitchen.

            Yes, I took shortcuts, and I am telling you that it is perfectly okay to do that also. The main ingredient in every meal is actually LOVE.

So as long as you serve up a big scoop of that, the meal is perfect!

There are likely thousands of stroganoff recipes out there in the world. I just have to give you one that is super easy to make and is tasty and comforting.

            Can I use canned mushroom soup?

Definitely! Anytime you get a chance to take a shortcut do so. Canned cream of mushroom soup is not all that bad. I rather like the flavor. Of course, homemade Creamy mushroom soup will always taste better.

            Should I serve it over noodles?

You can serve Meatball Stroganoff over Rice, egg noodles or even mashed potatoes.

            What if we do not like Mushrooms?

Feel Free to Use Cream of Celery or even Cream of Potato Soup. You could also make a cream base that is perfect by itself.

1 bag frozen meatballs

16 ounces egg noodles

1 can cream of mushroom soup mix

1 cup water

1 envelope Onion Soup Mix

FIRST STEP:

Heat the meatballs according to the directions on the package

SECOND STEP:

Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions and drain when done.

In a skillet, add the Cream of mushroom soup, water and onion soup mix, whisk together and simmer until the sauce thickens a little
