Not Yo Mama’s Banana Pudding

I finally found a pudding recipe for bananas that I absolutely love! This pudding comes out super fluffy and creamy, it is insane! I believe the first time I had something similar was at my former in-laws home.

That woman could cook! I am so glad I asked for some of her recipes. I still have them almost 40 years later. Of course, I have not changed the written recipe, AT ALL! When I decide to make one of those, it stays the same as she would have made it.

Don’t get me wrong, I have added other ingredients, or removed some from a few of the recipes. The original is still in her handwriting. And believe me, when you taste this absolutely crazy delicious banana pudding you will completely understand.

Please, hear me out. Make the dessert exactly as it is written the first time. If, for some reason, it is not the best, then feel free to change it.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What makes this better than perfect?

Oh my, so hard to explain. The taste is heavenly. It is fun to make and topped with a light drizzle of chocolate, how could it not be?

            Can I use different fruits?

I apologize, but any fruit other than bananas in this dessert would not be this dessert. If you choose to experiment, please let me know the changes.
