Buffalo Wings are the go to appetizer for many. They work well to have at sports gatherings, family get-togethers, and any other sort of fun time you want to make them for.
Buffalo wings can be super hot, or mild and savory. The amount of heat you add will depend on how much heat you can handle. These are super easy to whip up and the family is going to love them.
These are crispy wings made in your oven that can be dipped in any sauce of your choosing. These are not only a great appetizer, but they can be part of a great and easy meal too!
There is always a question about which is the best hot sauce. I always use Franks, but there are many to choose from. Use your favorite.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What types of sauces can be used for dipping?
There are so many possibilities for this. You can use Honey Mustard, more Hot sauce, Ranch, Western, Sour Cream basically anything. The most popular dipping sauces are ranch and bleu cheese. Be sure that you have chunks of celery to serve with the wings also.
What can be served with these as a meal?
Great question! You could serve french fries, potato salad, macaroni salad, or grill up some vegetables.
Can I make these ahead of time?
That is up to you. When I make them, they do not tend to last long. If I want to have enough, I need to make a few batches in order to have them for any gathering.
Can these be frozen?
They can! They should be placed into an airtight container and then put into the freezer. They will be good for 3 months in the freezer. When you need them, thaw them in the refrigerator overnight and then reheat in a medium heat oven.
Can these be fried?
Yes, you could heat up 1.5 to 2 quarts of oil and then fry the wings before coating them with hot sauce. Baking them in the oven is just a healthier method of cooking. If you have an air fryer, you could also fry them in the air fryer in batches and keep them warm in the oven as you continue to cook the batches.
