Philly Cheesesteak Quesadillas

A Philadelphia Cheesesteak is a sandwich that has become a favorite all across the United States. Loaded with beef, cheese, peppers and onions, or any combination of those. What is it that makes this sandwich taste so good?

The combinations of the flavors together. The provolone tastes phenomenal with some good tender steak. When you add some mushrooms to the flavor you are leaps and bounds above the taste of all other sandwiches.

So what if we change the classic Philly Cheesesteak up somewhat and make it into a quesadilla? Can you imagine the flavors on a slightly toasted tortilla?

Since it is a quesadilla, you have the option of making these with some spice or having them as simple Philly Cheesesteaks.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I add spice to this quesadilla?

You can definitely add what you like. You could use jalapeno peppers, chili peppers, simmer the steak in a package of taco seasoning. You could add chili powder, or you can add some sriracha to them before you put them together all the way.

Could I use spinach or Tomato Tortillas?

All I can say is YUMMY! That would be a fabulous added flavor or two. You could maybe use the plain tortillas, some tomato tortillas and some spinach tortillas, you will have a variety of color on the plate.

Do I have to use Provolone cheese?

Technically you can use Swiss or provolone, or any other flavor of cheese that you like.

What size of tortillas should I use?

Here again, you can use whichever size is easiest for you. You will have to adjust the ingredients so they fit the size you are using.

            How do I store these?

These can be placed in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. But, do not worry about that! These will be gone quickly.
