Salisbury Steak Meatballs

These beefy little meatballs taste so soft, savory and perfect in brown mushroom gravy with onion. All sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes. This is the perfect meal.

It is simple, delicious, easy to make and I do not know of anyone who does not like Salisbury steak.  I suppose that instead of meatballs, you could make these into patties to save a little time. But, I have to say the meatballs are just the right size to scoop up with potatoes and gravy and have it all in one bite.

Salisbury steak is not actually steak. It is ground beef. For this dish, I mixed it with some ground turkey to lighten up on some of the calories.

This dish can be made in the crockpot, air fryer, instant pot or even steam the meatballs. This is phenomenal when you serve it over Cauliflower Mash or Cauliflower Rice. Either of these make it an even healthier option.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Which is best to serve the meatballs with?

I am not going to say any side is better than the other. I love all of the possibilities.

            Can I use all beef?

Of course you can! You can use all beef, half beef, half turkey or any combination.

Which method do you prefer cooking it in?

I guess that all depends on the schedule for the day. If I am super busy, I will use the crock pot. If I forget to start dinner, obviously I am going to use the instant pot. Preferably, I would choose the crock pot.
