Soft and Buttery Yeast Rolls

I know I cannot be the only one who loves the smell and taste of fresh bread and rolls right out of the oven. These rolls are super simple to make, you can do them by hand or use a mixer if you choose.

I have been using this recipe for the past few years now and we have found that we like them better than bakery rolls. I say that this does come together quickly because it is true. The times for the dough to rise are not that long, which is helpful.

When you are looking for a recipe that you can hang on to for years, one that gives you the best tasting rolls then make sure you have this in your files. There is no better roll recipe that I can find.

These rolls come out exactly the way they are meant to. Slight crust on the outside and so super soft and buttery on the inside. They take very little work and you are going to be totally amazed at the ease of these.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Are there variations that can be used for these?

These can be made to be vegan if you use plant based milk and butter, then a choice of sweetener.

Can I turn these into garlic rolls?

You could certainly do so. Just add a tsp of garlic powder to the flour when you are mixing it.

            Can these be made ahead?

You can certainly make these ahead of time. Keep them tightly covered and on the counter for no more than 48 hours. You could also freeze them and when you are ready, let them thaw on the counter before serving.
