This really is an amazing dip, even if it sounds odd. This is one of those dips that your guests need to see you eating before they will even consider it. However, rest assured it will be gone in just minutes and there will be plenty of people asking for the recipe.
There are some people, namely me, who had no doubt that cookie dough and cheesecake would taste so good together. Admittedly, I am a chocoholic, in any form, so it goes without saying that this dip would be tops for me.
There are at least two ways you can prepare this fantastical dip. One would be to make a ball like the old fashioned cheese balls. There is also this one, the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough dip.
Either way, it makes a great addition to a potluck dinner or place the ball into a fancy dish and wrap it with colored plastic wrap with a ribbon and it makes a perfect gift.
We all know that the best recipes are those that do not need to be cooked. Cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts, so when I can combine chocolate chip cookie dough flavor into a cheesecake, can there even possibly be anything better?
Is Cheesecake Dip Gluten Free?
The following recipe is not Gluten Free. However, there are Gluten free recipes on the internet, unless you are kitchen smart and can create your own gluten free recipe.
I can say that as long as there is no flour or any type of crust, this dessert will be gluten free. If you are on a gluten free diet, check ingredient labels.
What Can I dip Into the Cheesecake Dip
You could use any number of items to add to the dip.
Fruit: Strawberries, apples and even pears taste amazing with the dip
Pretzels: There are gluten free varieties available in many markets
Graham Crackers: Many supermarkets have a whole aisle dedicated to gluten free products. Look for Graham Crackers there.
