Instant Pot Detox Flush

This is that all too famous diet soup, revamped for the Instant Pot. These instant pots are all the rage now. You can create and cook a meal in such a short amount of time, it is amazing to me. I do use this detox flush soup to help me lose a few unwanted pounds after the holidays. You know with all that baking I do, and the taste testing, I tend to gain some cushion. This is the perfect dish to replace one meal a day. It doesn’t matter which meal you replace. This soup is super tasty, filling and very easy to make.

However, I have to make sure this is said. This detox flush is not supposed to be replacing every meal each day. Although this is super healthy, you do need other nutrients in your diet also. Although a very healthy soup, your body does need lean protein to function, dairy to keep bones strong and fruits for the nutrients they provide. A diet does not work if the food is boring.

If you were to eat this for all meals each day, you would become bored and start to cheat on the diet. It is healthier to replace one or two meals a day only.

When using the Instant Pot, this soup only takes FOUR minutes to make. That just blows my mind!! This amount of time does not include the time to build the pressure and it does not include the time prepping the vegetables.
