Fudge is a treat that I could eat all year long. However, my hips and waistline convince me to stick to certain times of the year. There are so many variations to this recipe that you could literally eat a different flavor of fudge everyday of the year. So obviously, I will not be going over each one.
This recipe only calls for three simple ingredients and is basically all made in the microwave. This means when you have a fierce sweet tooth, you can whip up some fudge very quickly.
This is a great treat for a last minute get together, those Holiday parties that will be here before we know it and it also makes a sweet little snack to hand out to the School bus driver, the mail man, any delivery services and even your children’s teachers.
If you get the kids involved, they could pass out little boxes of fudge to their friends also.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I use different ingredients, such as nutella?
Nutella would be a great substitute for peanut butter. And the flavor would be a great spin on fudge.
Can I use Natural Peanut Butter?
The only way I would use all natural peanut butter is to drain the peanut oil off before using it.
How do I store this fudge?
Refrigeration is not mandatory unless you like your fudge cold. Fudge does not last long enough in my home to even consider placing it in the refrigerator. When I did, I was always removing the empty pan and finding it difficult to have any fudge myself. It is so much safer to keep it as far back on the counter as you can, away from the hands of those little ones.
