            Snickerdoodle cookies are one of those cookies that it seems everyone enjoys. Now imagine making those cookies into a cake, the flavor is still the same in the cake as it is for the cookies.

This is a classic, or will be very soon. This cake can be served for a Holiday, a birthday or even a celebration. The cake is simple enough that it works for any day or any special occasion.

            This is actually one of those cheat cakes. We will start by using a boxed cake mix. Then we will add some cinnamon and top it all with a buttercream frosting mixed with cinnamon.

This is the most amazing frosting you will ever taste. You could garnish the finished cake by using crushed Snickerdoodle cookies.

What do you need to make Snickerdoodle Cake

            1 package white cake mix

            1 cup milk

            1 stick butter, melted

            3 large eggs

            1 tsp vanilla flavoring

            2 tsp cinnamon

How to make Snickerdoodle Cake

FIRST STEP:

Preheat the oven to 350*, spray to 8 inch round cake pans with a baking spray

Place the cake mix, milk, butter, eggs and vanilla with the cinnamon into a bowl and combine all

SECOND STEP:

Spread the batter evenly between the two pans

Bake the two layers for 27 to 29 minutes, or until they are a light golden brown

THIRD STEP:

Remove the pans from the oven and allow to cool in the pans for ten minutes in an inverted position

Then flip the pans over and let them cool for another half hour

Meanwhile prepare the frosting by mixing the butter until it is fluffy

Add the confectioners sugar slowly

Add in the milk, vanilla and cinnamon and mix well

If the frosting is stiff, add in one more tbsp milk

Place one layer onto a serving plate, top side down

Place a layer of frosting on top
