I can not recall even a single time that I have had to bring leftover coleslaw home from a picnic or potluck. The flavor is just that good! I also can not think of a main course that would not taste good alongside a big bowl of coleslaw.

Cabbage is a vegetable that is packed with nutrition, helps with digestion, helps with inflammation and may also help with high cholesterol, lower your blood pressure and help keep your heart healthy. Cabbage comes in different colors, with purple and green being the most common. It is lower in calories and can be made in a wide variety of ways. Purple cabbage can also help to strengthen your bones. Cabbage is also very high in fiber content, which is mandatory in a healthy diet.  You could make this even healthier by using vinegar instead of a creamy dressing.
