Country Meat Pies

Meat pies are a traditional food for many families. Meat pies are also called Pot Pies, Shepherd’s Pie as well as many other names. This meat pie is easy to make, filled with meat and vegetables, rice, cheese and tomato sauce. The savory flavors are enough to please all hungry people.

The Country Meat Pie is also considered to be a classic comfort food. This Meat Pie is actually quite versatile, meaning that you can add more vegetables, change the meat or cheese, or any other variations. You could even change up the spices that are used and give it a different flavored cuisine.

There are many options of what could be served along with this dish. Most often, I will serve a dinner salad or some roasted vegetables.

My family loves fruit salad so we will make a mixed fruit salad to go along with the meal.
