A simple, yet refreshing dessert that comes together in a short time. Made with an easy graham cracker crust and topped with Blueberries, a taste that will delight your tongue. When you serve a dessert that looks like it took most of your day to make, everyone makes you feel so good with all the compliments.
Those hot summer days that call for picnics, BBQs or family gatherings would be the perfect time to serve this decadent dessert. Of course, I have done what I do best and tweaked this recipe to make it even easier than it was. I eliminated the baking to make this a no bake dessert.
Not baking it does mean that you will have to chill the crust for a few hours so that it stays together.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I use a different fruit?
You can go ahead and change out the fruit to one you like. Some suggestions are cherry, apple, or strawberry.
Can I use cookie crumbs instead of Graham crackers?
Definitely! I have used crushed oreos, vanilla wafers, cinnamon crackers and even crushed chocolate chip cookies.
How can I serve a large group with this recipe?
If you need to serve a crowd or have more than the classic 8 pieces you get from a pie shaped cheesecake, use a mini muffin pan. You can get up to 36 from one tray. Making miniature little cheesecakes are perfectly adorable. You will make them in the same manner. Press the crust into a muffin tin cup, chill those while you prepare the filling. Fill each cup with an equal amount of filling. Return to the refrigerator to chill for two hours. Spoon pie filling into each muffin cup and carefully remove each with a fork or knife.
