Can I use different Sausage?

Chicken, Pork or even Turkey sausage will taste amazing in this dish. Any flavor of sausage will work. The maple flavor for a breakfast would be phenomenal.

Can I use precooked Sausage?

Personally, I have made this meal numerous times with smoked and sliced sausage or even kielbasa. My family loves it in any manner.

Must I use baby potatoes?

No, I prefer the baby potatoes because they are adorable, taste great and are super easy to work with. You can use any type, fingerlings, russets, yukon gold or red potatoes.

Can I use different vegetables?

You most definitely can! Try this one pan meal with cauliflower, sweet potatoes, eggplant, carrots and even squash.

Can I store leftovers?

If you have any remaining after dinner, you can keep it in a tightly closed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Do I have to add the wine?

You can substitute the wine with chicken broth or plain water if you prefer.

What ingredients do you need for Roasted Sausage and Potatoes

            ¾ cup white wine, dry

            12 links of Sweet Italian Sausage poked with a fork

            ½ tsp black pepper

            1 tsp salt

            1 tsp basil

            1 tsp rosemary

            1 tsp thyme

            6 cloves minced garlic

            1 ½ pounds baby potatoes, halved

            1 onion sliced

            2 sliced red peppers

            1 tbsp Olive Oil

What ingredients do you need for Roasted Sausage and Potatoes

FIRST STEP:

Preheat the oven to 425*

Place all ingredients, minus the sausage, into a large zip lock bag

FIRST STEP:

Seal the bag and shake so that all items are coated evenly

Dump the vegetables into a large roasting pan

SECOND STEP:

Spread evenly across the bottom of the pan

Place the sausage into the bag and shake to coat the links with the seasoned oil

THIRD STEP:

Place the coated sausages on top of the seasoned vegetables and place in preheated oven

Roast for 30 minutes

FOURTH STEP:

Remove pan from oven, gently stir the meat and the vegetables, add in the wine and return the pan to the oven

Roast for an additional 15 minutes

Serving Suggestions:

Serve with a side of applesauce

Have a basket of homemade bread available

Place dipping sauces into dipping cups, mustard, ketchup, sour cream, ranch
