Santa’s Favorite Snack

Even Santa gets tired of the same old treats at every house. I bet you didn’t know that Puppy Chow is one of Santa’s favorite snacks all year long.

This year, give Santa what he wants and not the same cookies or treats that he can have at every other house he stops at. Who knows, you just may get the gift you have asked Santa for!

In all reality, puppy chow is one of the easiest treats to make. All you need is a combination of Chex cereal, or you could simply use just Rice Chex, powdered sugar and colorful Holiday M&Ms.

Puppy Chow is one of those treats that can be customized to your liking. A few other simple ingredients and you are good to go.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I add a mix of cereal?

You could mix the cereal up by adding a variety of Chex flavors, you could use different cereals altogether, or you could add pretzel bits and any number of other options.

How do I store this treat?

I prefer to keep the puppy Chow chilled, so I keep mine in an airtight container and then placed into the refrigerator. However, you can keep puppy chow at room temperature as long as it is in an airtight container.

            Can I freeze Puppy Chow?

Personally, I do not see why you would not be able to, however, I cannot answer that completely. I have never had it in my house long enough to freeze.
