Twix Cookies

How many times have you craved a candy bar and you cannot get up town. Well now you can make a cookie that tastes virtually identical to a Twix candy bar.

There is the sweet crispy cookie portion, a layer of caramel and then they are topped with chocolate. You just can’t go wrong with this one. It is loaded with all the good stuff.

You will be everyones’  favorite person when you show up to the door with a plate of these.

The kids will clamor all around looking for the candy bars or a bag. Bring a plate of these to the office and everyone will be sure to take a coffee break.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do these really taste like Twix?

They have everything in them that the candy bar has. They look slightly different, however, if you chose to, you could pour the ganache over the entire top of the cookie. This will cover it more and look like a round Twix bar.

Could I use a white chocolate?

Yes, you could! Twis does have white chocolate bars as well. Recipes should be experimented with and made to what you would like.

What is the easiest way to soften the caramel?

The easiest method is to do as I have outlined in the directions. Unwrap and place all the caramels into a microwave safe bowl and add the heavy cream.
