Who does not like to have a recipe that is the easiest dessert ever to make? This recipe actually goes by many other names, a common one is ‘Are You Kidding Me?’ But, since this is what is said every time I give the recipe to someone, I thought that it is just more appropriate for me. Seriously you guys, there is nothing any easier than this. I can not wait until you try it and tell me how you like it.
There are so many different variations that you can make for this cake. Pudding cake? Oh, I don’t know. All I can tell you for sure is that it is simply amazing! What I am posting here is a basic recipe, or a base for this dessert.
This recipe is huge! There is no end to the combinations you could possibly make. It is like having a completely different dessert daily, if you want. It bakes up to a pudding cake consistency that is fluffy and light. It is not a heavy taste or a heavy cake. Oh, the fun we can have with this recipe. You guys will have to let me know the combinations that you try. I may want to try them also.
Don’t be surprised when your friends look at you and say ‘Bullsh**’ once you give them the recipe.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I have to use the white cake or yellow cake?
Absolutely not! Play with this recipe. What are your favorites? I am planning on doing a french vanilla with peaches the next time I make this. I am hoping it tastes like the easy Peach dessert recipe that I have.
Do I have to use pie filling?
I would think that if you would use some fruit preserves mixed with a little bit of water, it would be about the same. I think it calls for pie filling because it is easier.
Can I cut back or eliminate the eggs?
You could use Greek Yogurt in place of the eggs.
