Cinnamon Sugar Donut Bread

A delightful loaf of bread that tastes like a delicious cinnamon sugar donut. I know that this sounds unbelievable, but it is so true. I am on a roll with great breakfast recipes. Add this one to the front of your recipe file, you will be using it often.

This was one of those recipes that were shoved to the back of my saved recipes. So being home for this health situation gave me the time I needed to organize.

I found this one, and had to try it all over again. I was amazed all over again. The flavors are rich and creamy, it is hearty, sweet and not hard to make. Even though it is bread, it is more like a cake. It is super moist, fluffy and slightly dense like the cake donut we all love.

Like I said, it is meant for breakfast, but it tastes like a sweet dessert. I have decided that you can use it for either and enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do I have to use Canola oil?

If you prefer, you can certainly use vegetable oil or peanut oil.

What can I use instead of buttermilk?

There really is no substitute for the buttermilk in this recipe. If needed, add 2 tsp of vinegar into 1 cup of milk. Let this sit for a bit. It will thicken and become buttermilk.
